Total Base Hero Rating, does it really matter ?

I recently joined a new alliance and a lot of my friends have over half a million in TBHR while I sit just under 300k. We’re an Alliance based solely on AW’s for the most part. My question with this is, should I be less concerned with “building” my lower rating champions to build my total rating or take the hit and sell a majority of them to focus on my heavy hitters that are being used in AW and AQ. As many of you know once you start getting your 5* champs to levels 2 and up it can get very pricey.

    I never suggest people sell. It's up to you, but I don't suggest it.

    selling heroes made sense some months ago, now is just a waste. In order to have some good shards back you need to sell at last a 4* r3 and doing a 4*r3 cost resources (specificaly gold and Alpha1). Nowdays you can form a 4* crystals weekly if not more. and a 5* crystal everty month at minimum.
    Devs are speaking to implements synergies in war defence and a large 4* roster can be very appprciated for bumping your 5* defenders.

    Do not sell champs.
