Placing Champs who inflict Poison on Poison Nodes in AW

I just had someone tell me that it makes no sense placing a champ like Ant-Man or Arch Angel on a Poison Node, because the champ already inflicts Poison. I thought that was the point. He seems to think if you place a champ like Howard The Duck there, Poison will be inflicted on the attackers.

Can someone clear this up for me please?

Depends on what you mean by poison node.
Do you mean “enahanced poison” as this node increase the effect of poison butndoes not cause it. Meaning you need a champ who causes poison.
It the node is “poison” as in deals 100% damage over 60secs then it is the node that inflicts poison. It does not matter who is here

(Also howard the duck can sometimes cause poison)

On a poison enhance node you put a poison champ on a poison inflict node it is not necessary on poison inflict node you can put night crawler there and he will inflict poison just depends on what the node says

You are correct but on inflict poison I recommend putting a non poison champ because it benefits them more

Don’t put a poison champ there because anyone with sense is using an immune champ regardless.
