How good is punisher 2099?

I just got a 4 star punisher 2099. Is he good for anything? Thoughts on him?

    Fun for questing, personally I really like his abilities and move set. But only for a bit of fun. Although he won’t get your through act 5 or LoL it’s still nice to get 100 charge on the battery and then stun lock by using heavy attack over and over.

    He is not generally considered great, but there is a way to use him that is extremely effective if the enemy can be stunned, especially in AQ where there is no limber.

    First, play cautious and use SA1 until you get battery to 100. The you get a buff called overdrive. That is a fury plus enervate effect (reduces enemy power gain 90%). Then do this sequence: dash attack-heavy-dash attack-heavy, etc, until battery is drained. It is a preposterously long stunlock that kills almost anything in AQ except a boss of course. And even if they survive that, they won’t be at max power because of the enervate.

    He also has a niche as a good counter to OG vision when duped, or other annoying power gainers.

    Very good match with OG Thor for the synergy that gives you first battery use free.
