Recovering masteries???

Since recently, I've been saving up my units to get deep wounds. But I have been wondering about how it works when you recover it. When you recover it, do you have to unlock the levels of it again using another carbonadium and 2 stonies, or do the levels of it stay unlocked even if you recover your points?

    Recover your points and what ever you have already unlocked, stays unlocked. Just have to spend the gold or units to place a point in them again.
