Another update - still no champ updates??

What's happened to the regular champ updates? All of these new champs are great and have amazing abilities and animations etc but ehy are they so OP compared to the old/original champs? They've been neglected and haven't been updated along with the game and it's content.
When are the old champions going to get some love like Luke cage? Half the champions like IM, collosus, beast, gambit and cap etc don't have any use and it would make the game far more enjoyable and give people more options for rank ups if these had a bit of TLC.
