Hello. I'm Andrew and I've played Marvel Contest of Champions since February. I'm on level 26, I have few heroes of 3 stars and 2 of 4 stars. I'm Brazilian so sorry for any English errors (Google Translator, you know).
The Chaos event started and I thought I could do it at the Beginner level, so I started doing it. But after a while, I realized I had heroes to do Normal mode. The question is the cost of energy. Chapter 1 costs 1 per-play energy, chapter 2 costs 2, and 3 costs 3. The problem is that I don't have the energy and time to do it. And it really hurts me in the game. I started doing Normal mode because, with all due respect, the Beginner's rewards are very bad. However, it seems that the company wants us to give up doing the way we should. I have a limit of 44 energies, and it has not been enough. I came in Chapter 3 hopeful of getting the rewards and saw the cost of energy and the size of the level. And I saw that it had only completed 33% of the act. Damn it! I'm just saying that things should not be easy, but they should not be nearly impossible either, considering that the level required for Normal Mode is 12! Please, next time, at least reduce the value of 3rd chapter from 3 to 2 energies per play. That way you motivate us to give up the game. And that opinion is not just mine, believe me.

This is working as intended. Level up to have a higher energy count, or use units for refills. Too much LOL'ing here
You will soon be at the point where you can autofight normal and most of heroic, which means you can do other stuff while the AI fights for you.
