Rift for Masters

I recently entered a masters rift and ran out of energy, I came back later to continue and it had disappeared like I never entered and locked out, why is it that happened and why should I lose my rewards for that rift opening and get booted cuz I ran out of energy and couldn't finish at the moment, it is very difficult to open a masters rift and to lose out on any rewards, that is wrong in many different ways, i can't understand why this is that way, I would like a return of my masters rift shards so I can do a new one, I feel I've been ripped off, need this corrected quickly, thanks

    It only opens for 1hr, did u go back an hour later and it got expired maybe?

    You wont get back your shards. Kabam plainly stated that these rifts are to be completed in the allotted one hour time when they were introduced, and you get warning messages to complete the quest in the given time before opening and starting the rift. You have to ensure you have sufficient energy (and free time) before starting any rift because of this.

    If you failed to pay attention to those messages when you started the rift, then Kabam didn't rip you off; you ripped off yourself.
