Dashing backwards instead of forwards after parrying opponent. "trials of omniscience"

My screen is clean LOL! Why am I continually dashing backwards instead of forwards after I have parried my opponent? It has happened 5 times in the "Trials of omniscience." It also happens on a regular basis. It can be any champ.It seems to happen more when the Ai is juiced up. Also the time it takes after a parry to come in and attack has increased. I have noticed this as I took a break from the game. So when you parry an opponent, straight after the parry there is a slight delay before you can go in and attack. There is no response. For opponents that have reduced stun times, this has a profound effect as you can be intercepted going in for the attack if the stun ends quicker than usual.
