Taunting Specials

Please, so that I don't have to worry about special 3? I am sometimes sick and tired of getting laid on Special 3 by characters with high ranks and advanced stars.

Just like in the arena when suddenly my opponent gets hard all of a sudden I have fully rank up 3 star against a fully rank up 4 star. I'll practically play my best a combination of blocks, parry, evade, and a precised moment to strike, but unfortunately I don't do much damage (Not even my special 3). However, my opponent of a jerk won't use any specials filling it's power bar then hits me with the cinematic special 3, which leaves me a crippled health bar, but still surviving.

Then the same cycle goes on,with me filling my opponents bar with my every strike. If I just stand and block, my opponent kills me slowly as well.

So how do you taunt opponents to use specials 1 and 2?

I yell really hard at my phone and call names at the other champ. It works sometimes, I think.

Work on dash in strikes to hit the block, followed by evading dash backs immediately after.. Evade the light and medium opponent attacks and try to maintain the enemy below their three bars of power through evasion and not attacking. Sometimes you have to strike a block and evade multiple times before the opponent uses a special. Or get a Stark Spidey... His taunt is helpful

you mentioned you were in arena using 3 stars going against 4 stars.

what win streak were you at??
because believe it or not, theres an algorithm for it. i dont rmbr exactly what it is, but i use rank 3 and under 3 stars up until win streak 8, 9-13 i ise rank 4 3*s, then after that i use nothing UNDER rank 3 4*.
the best way i can explain it, is essentially, youre in "tiers" depending on your win streak, and if youre using champs outside the "required ratings", youll go against things that are rated "hard" and are all max rank and level of the max stars (basic arena is rank 5 level 50 4*, usually very high PI). Friends and I refer to them as "death squads" because of the fact that theyre meant to always win if you go outside of that "tier" i mentioned before.
from my experience, the specials are MUCH harder to bait out (ive never baited out a special 1 or 2 against a death squad), and even if they dont attack or block, will typically wait until special 3 and use it imidiately.
i did testing on it myself, i got to winstreak 150 using only rank 5 4*s, rank 4 4*s and rank3 4*s, had every fight stay UNDER my teams overall rating the entire time. On match 150, i decided to use rank 2 4*s and EVERY fight (even after using units to find new fights) were rank 5 level 50 4*s.
thats the "tier cutoff" is a max level rank 3 4* after so many wins

Meaning use the low level champs first and when hitting the top, keep using the top champs? Going to try it thanks so much

Do something stupid. Throw out a few light attacks at the air. Just make sure to block when you're done.
