Choppy graphics, slow loading & AI broken

Today I fell short on making Hero Use by ONE 4* FIGHT.
This isn't the first or even the 6th time I fell short due to serious problems in the game play. It's been happening for over 2 months now.
I'm using a Samsung Galaxy 5 and throughout all of my fights I have had choppy and freezing graphics, very slow loading of fights, and today a new problem with AI has begun.
When using AI it now makes no move at all to defend my champion and allows me to hit the red bar but doesn't use it either. Earlier it had me in a fight with someone who was 1500+ and I had Vision (Age of Ultron) who was 4500+. Vision was hit over 67 times with less than six hits to the other person. He died even though the meter before the fight indicated over 75% probability of winning. This happened with 3 other fights (different champs and events).
What is going on?
