No connection when starting game

I used to play the game last year, then stopped for some months. I decided to restart today and installed the new version. The game does not even get past the login screen. It shows the "Check your connection" sign and then the "Reconnect" window. I try again and nothing happens.
Since my iPhone is jailbroken, I downgraded the game and tested the versions 18.0.0 and upper, and all had the same error. I also tried removing the jailbreak and reinstalled the game, yet the same error persists.
I am using an iPhone 5S 64gb with iOS 10.3.3, trying it again as I write here.
