MIxed feelings about Joe Fixit

I have a 4* 3/30 Joe Fixit.
The other day he was paired against Rogue on Arena. I thought it would be an easy fight, my Joe is a huge block with impressive muscles and Rogue is a tiny girl. What chance did she have? Fight started and I hit her again, and again, and again, and again and after 50 consecutive hits (yes, a world record) I glanced at her HP and... it wasn't even at half! I switched to plab B and delivered a SP1: Joe got his machine gun and riddled her with bullets; still she got up but I thought she would be KO in no time, since she was bleeding heavily, a awesome... 33 per tick! Was Rogue stung by bullets or by mosquitoes? Time to bring the heavy artilery, ie, SP3: Joe went berserk and pounded her with bullets, fists and everything he got. He finally got up, combed his hair and... Rogue was still standing, like nothing had happened! I eventually lost the fight because my finger suffered from a cramp.
Last time I cried it was when Benfica lost the championship to Porto, 4 years ago, with a goal on stoppage time. But when I got 2k 4* shards the other day, my 7th 4* champ, opened the crystal and was another Joe, I cried again. A lot.
On the bright side, yesterday I was paired against Joe at Arena. Midfight the bell rang and I went to the door. After, I ate a snack, went to toilet and got back to the fight just to realize I forgot to pause. Joe was still there, hammering my Wolverine with his feather fists. I attacked 3 times and Wolvie sliced him in half and bled him to KO. Sometimes I love Joe.

If you had him in the mode where your crit rate increases the higher your combo is, you would've downed the rogue easily.
While I know joe fixit isn't the greatest champ, far from it, I do question the amount of hate that he gets, IMO he's fun to play and isn't half bad, definitely kills faster than people claim if used correctly.
I will agree that before the WP nerf he was more than useless though. Now with deep wounds his sp1 is sneaky good and when he rolls clubs he's really solid.
