Alliances purposely tanked rating for war

The war point system is very flawed as alliances are purposely tanking their rating prior to war season to take advatnge of the 50k points offered to the winner. By facing weaker alliances they win more in a row which in turn grants them a higher spot in ranking since now they’re adding 50k the multiplier. Kabam needs to correct this because an alliance at 1900 should not be within 50 spots of an alliance at 2200 for example. The difference in points is only 200k points which means since the alliance at 2200 rating is more than likely facing stronger alliances and they’ll probably end up losing one extra war than the alliance at 1900 placing them at a lower rank at the end of the season.

They may be getting the 50k bonus points but they are losing out on the multiplier. This may work if you're dealing with a lower tier alliance (like 10 vs 11 in the silver groups), but the math doesn't work if you're tier 6 or higher (gold 1 and higher) because the multiplier makes such a big difference.

@Dexman1349 oh yes it does, we’re currently tier 4, 2200 rating which is 4.5x. A 1900 ally is also tier 4. We’re both winning one losing one. So they’re right behind us in points. So if had started at 1900 odds are we would of won 2-3 before losing one.

It's folly to try and manipulate the system that way. There's only one way to get ahead in the Season and that's up. Not Up, Down, Up, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, B, A, Select, Start. ;)
