**WINTER OF WOE - BONUS OBJECTIVE POINT**
As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.
There is currently an issue where some Alliances are are unable to find a match in Alliance Wars, or are receiving Byes without getting the benefits of the Win. We will be adjusting the Season Points of the Alliances that are affected within the coming weeks, and will be working to compensate them for their missed Per War rewards as well.

Additionally, we are working to address an issue where new Members of an Alliance are unable to place Defenders for the next War after joining. We are working to address this, but it will require a future update.

Death of autoblock

Auto block needs to die. Wits a poor mechanic to play and for the game

Remove parry stun then it might be okay. The opponent auto blocks, you don't get stunned and if skilful then get a window for getting back. If not enough skill and you stand there then the opponent champ hits you. That way skill can be accounted for as well as there will be extra ability of auto block. Thoughts?

    Proxima is good for autoblock.

It's just another mechanic that particular characters will be good against.
    For example:
Autoblock - Use Karnak, Cable etc. (True strike), or use ability reduction champs like AA, Elektra etc.
Mordo evade when stunned - Use Drax (double hit on first medium)
Abomination poison - Use ANY poison immune champ.

I think autoblock is an alright thing to have because it does encourage (at least after the buff to true strike) a use of champions that were never useful before.

There are other mechanics that definately should be more talked about such as Limbo, Coldsnap, Dormammu Degen on dexterity, as these mechanics is "unavoidable" whereas autoblock is avoidable.

Your argument is inconsistent because if you truly meant what you said then unavoidable dmg is acceptable cuz certain champs can counter in. Dormammu and Magik can be countered with hulk rag, for coldsnap Sabretooth, Corvus, mephisto and any debuff-shrugging champ.

Limbo and cold snap are both avoidable actually. Ability reduction will avoid limbo.. blade especially with stark, crossbones, bw, arch angel.. etc and mephisto and sabertooth are cold snap immune.. champs who shrug off debuffs end cold snap faster.. rogue.. agent venom.. duped cb etc. Mordo duoed while blocking lessens cold snap damage also. Dormamu degen there’s no immmunity per day but blade and stark mitigate it nicely.

Lol if ur that bad that u don’t have an armor break champ for dealing with Infinity War Iron man and don’t have someone who can remove a fury buff from Medusa and some sort of AAR person for Modok, or you at least can’t counter it, u gotta get better. It’s not like it’s random out of the blue. You know exactly when it’s gonna trigger. Most of y’all are just whining because the meta is changing. “The battlerealm is evolving”- The Collector

@Hammerbro_64 I think about everyone disagrees but thanks anyway. @Anurag1606 I agree. Take parry out of it and it’s ok. It’s blatant aw cash grab. True strike champs are rare and not very strong. You have to work up to that ability anyway in my opinion.

I’m assuming this is a guy that either (a) spends his way through tier 7 war, or (b) is in tier 7 war, is an okay player at that level, but has no idea what happens with iim on node 38.

The autoblock/parry mechanic isn’t terrible, but it’s fristrating. It is the one thing that makes some champs difficult.

But on iim, particularly combines with aggression armor and with explosive personality, it’s impossible to deal with. Literally.

And people who claim cable is useful for it, you’re nuts. Getting cable to an l3 without luck procking power gains is way easier said than done. I’m willing to bet none of you who talk about cable actually use him.

Can he be taken down by hitting into his block and dealing chip damage in the last 15% health?

    Not on explosive personality

Auto block isnt bad. Auto block being able to activate parry is where the problem lies. There is options to avoid it but aside from killmonger or karnak true strike its hard to maneuver in wars sometimes. Medusa you can circumvent with hood as well. Imiw only has proxima and corvus as counters at the moment for certain nodes in aw.
