Captain Marvel vs Drax vs Angela

I did a similar poll earlier before I dupped captain Marvel. Wondering what the better option is. 5* Captain Marvel dupped to r4, 5* Drax undupped to r4, or 5* Angela undupped to r3 instead? I don't have a lot of t4cc so debating who to spend it on. Please leave reasons, and thanks in advance!

Angela has armour, regen and fury buffs, cap marvel I personally don't like, drax has bleed and fury, but overall I think Angela is the better choice.

Personally I don't think Drax is in the running, he's a good champ but falls short especially unduped. Cap Marvel is still viable, hits hard and is poison immune. Angela is also great, hits hard, has slight regen and is the suicide queen. I enjoy playing with Captain Marvel more than the rest but that's just me. I don't think you can go wrong with Angela though unless you need a poison immune champ.

I’d go Angela.
I have her R4 unduped and she’s become my wolverine replacement for lane clearing. She hits hard on normal hits and doesn’t really require much effort to build her damage. Just know when to special to maximize her buff up times and you’ll be fine.

The only time I wouldn’t use her is for spite nodes, MD fights and maybe heal reversal fights. I don’t like taking her to war because of the mystics, but that has become less of an issue of late.

She works especially well on nodes like life transfer, and that life swap node. she just keeps building regen charges to have a constant supply of regen.

With willpower mastery she can be useful vs long bossfights that put random debuffs on, like last months (might be the month before) Proxima midnight fight, as long as you play well.

The only thing Cap marvel has on her is Poison immunity.

Speaking from a dps standpoint I once tested the cosmic champs while back with max DW a duped drax has very similar dps to angela, cap marvel is a fair bit under.

Unduped no comparison angela is the best dps-wise and effectively has 50% more hp because you heal back roughly 50% the damage done.

A tough call between the ladies but Angela for several reasons:

1. Durability. Despite lacking poison immunity Angela is surprisingly bulky. Her armor is nice (even if you rarely see it outside landing a critical hit on her Sp2) and her regen allows her to prolong a fight like she’s Ultron.

2. Critical Hits and Raw Damage. Ok so elephant in the room: at maximum Signature both versions of Carol Danver Marvel are capable of exceeding Angela in pure attack rating unless Angela has all 3 fury then she is just barely above Carol Danvers.

Each Fury is about 72% of her attack from what I’ve calculated. The best way to play Angela is to get as close to 3 power bars and use the Sp2. This should get you a Crit from the Armor Up below 1 bar and from the Special attack giving you 2 Armor. With a precision allowing you to Crit on most attacks you’ll be able to get up to 2 Fury totaling 144% attack increase backed up by critical hits nonstop. Then while you’re preparing to go back down to 1 bar of power you’ll have ni-unlimited critical hits with 72% Fury increase.

3. Synergies. Able to benefit both Hela and Mourningstar via Unique Synergies her being present is capable of boosting Mourningstar and the entire team while allowing her own critically duplicated buffs (and regeneration) to linger longer to more seemless displays of devastation.


Carol Danver Marvels are simply poison immune with high attack.
