(Greater) ascendant crystal costs - original price

Wait, let me get this straight... So the cancelled out number is the original price right?

The ascendant crystal originally costs 550 units.
The GREATER ascendant crystal originally costs 500 units.

I'm not going to take discounted price into detail here, because those prices reflect correctly (where ascendant costs 200 while greater costs 300). Why would the original price of a greater crystal cost LESS than the original price of a standard crystal?

    I opened up a thread on this also. That marketing here is laughable. Clearly an error and gives us a little insight into the mindset of how these deals are created.
