Bishop - Persistent Power Bug

I was playing in a AQ today and was using Bishop to clear the middle path on Map 5. Cleared the first Sentinel (Skill) and moved on to tackle Gwenpool. Started the fight with just over a bar of power (what I had at the end of the previous fight) and proceeded to take out Gwenpool with almost a bar of power left. After that came Agent Venom, and when I started that fight I had zero power. Thinking it must have been my fault I made sure to check my power bar (almost two bars) at the end of that fight. Going up against the Science Sentinel, I again had zero power to start.
Am I missing something? Or is something up with his Persostent Power ability?
