Alliance war ranking bugged?

My alliance and I were in Gold 1 bracket at a rank a little lower than 950 at tier 7 in the score multiplier 10 days ago. We won 4 wars in a row and are most likely going to win the current war we are in now. How ever we have dropped to the Gold 2 bracket and our score multiplier has dropped down to tier 9. I don't know if it is the prestige of my alliance that has brought our score multiplier down, but this shouldn't work like this. We are on a good win streak and should have maintained our status of Gold 1. Any clarification as to why we have demoted will be greatly appreciated.

    Sounds like some of your members have been pilots. The leader should have gotten a mail about it
