I imagine that its not easy to make changes to Alliance Quest and that some kind of an update is surely in some developmental stage. I also don't think my alliance speaks for the entire MCOC community. But based off the feedback of my alliance and feedback I've seen around other MCOC forums, Alliance Quests have run their course. The game mode either needs a serious update or just needs to be scrapped for something else. It is a boring, routine, time consuming, and stressful activity that plays more like a mandatory chore for upgrading your champions.
There is a lot of great content in this game. Maybe a consideration for less content could prove beneficial to the overall health of the game. I'm sure this is not the first time someone has posted a message like this one.
