Can ranged attacks trigger Archangel Block?

To make this simple to understand my Archangel managed to inflict Poison while blocking a Sp1 from Electro.
I also have a few questions about this interaction as followed:
Firstly, does Electro’s Sp1 count as a ranged attack?
Secondly, if so are ranged attacks supposed trigger Archangel’s poison block provided they are bleeding
Lastly, if also so, this seems a bit much as this is very abusable against say Punisher2099, Winter Soldier, Yondu, Punisher (Classic), and others with rapid fire special attacks.
I shall be testing this on the Winter Soldier in Realm of Legends shortly. Some silver potions for my testing should be all the compensation I need for helping clear this up

It was Archangel against someone who had no way of getting around Neurotoxin. Unless we are discussing some of the dungeon nodes there is virtually nothing that can negatively impact that fight
That, however, is not the point.
4 Bleed stacks on Red Magneto and his Sp2 did not trigger poison. This leads me to beleive that Electro’s Sp1 registers as a “contact” or “melee” based attack.
if you parry a projectile the opponent will not be stunned..
but iff aa blocks a projectile it can still poison.
it is not just electro. but i cannot tell you off hand who it works with and who it doesnt.
i do know it doesnt work with the bullet style attacks like WS, Punishe, 2099, etc......
i am gunna say it is cus when he blocks an attack he sends a metal feather at the opponent....
anyway AA causing poison on a ranged attack is the way it has always been. and the way it should stay.
dont post about it here in case they try and change it now......
