Fairness of wars

Why is our alliance only being paired up with alliances that are at least 50k stronger than us. This has made season 2 impossible for us to even stay where we were at last season. Why are we being punished?

We have the same problem. Because we are quite a small alliance that is trying to rebuild we’ve been put in the same bracket as a lot of the hackers/modders that got moved down for cheating. Makes it unfair on us as they are 10x better

That is incorrect. Our last match up had an Alliance Rating of 18M. Our rating is under 2M. Even when you divide the rating by the number of alliance members, the disparity was over 300K per member.

It is also not matched by Alliance War rating. Those can differ by more than 100 points and at least one bracket.
