Most effective recruitment methods for gold tier alliance?

Just seeing if I can get any feedback on here. Seems like half the big guns we recruit don’t have a team for a reason and are recycled out with the next bags of trash. Would be helpful if there was a better way than simply global. Feedback is appreciative. Thx.
