3* M.O.D.O.K. vs. 3* Joe Fixit

So, I have been using a 3* M.O.D.O.K as my main champ till now (Rank 2/4 Level 20/20), he's pretty amazing, I especially love the fire attack. Thing is, I just got a 3* Joe Fixit, he's also a Science class, but I haven't used him yet, is there a point in giving him any love? Anything interesting about him?

He has a little bit of utility, but he's not exactly the greatest champ but still relatively decent.
He starts off with an ability to choose from one of 4 random "buffs". Hearts gives regen, Clubs gives higher crit damage (I think) per combo hit, Diamonds gives rage (similar to Hulk's sig where lower health means higher attack) and Spades which puts fatigue and weakness on the opponent (which is basically useless). Not sure if Clubs and Spades should be switched. Also you can try and get another random one by using a heavy attack.
Basically he's alright, he does a few things but he's not the best at any of them.

Thanks! I noticed that whole card thing while battling him a few times, it seemed neat, but it sounds like it's not as useful as good old big head.
