6* basic not updated when featured updated.

I learned this the hard way after making sure the new features was live I excitedly clicked on the 6* basic crystal and spun away...much to my dismay there were no “new” champs. Sadly kabam couldn’t do anything but man does it suck waited so long for a chance at a void, killmonger, or sentinel...nope didn’t even get to see the them spin around...life lesson learned

    I sent Kabam numerous tickets and I kept getting the same generic drop rate complaint email sent to me so now I am trying through the feedback option to help make sure this doesn’t happen to anyone else. This was what I submitted.


    The most recent 6* basic crystal update was very frustrating for me. Not because of what I pulled but either the timing of the basic update was not simultaneous with the featured or at least the graphics didn’t update. Regardless I thought I was getting an updated basic spin but what I got was the old 6* basic crystal at least visually. Either way I feel like I got ripped off because I was under the impression that once the featured 6* updated so did the basic. I’d really like a spin of the updated crystal rather than the one I received, however after submitting soma y tickets that have fallen on deaf ears I’d like to take one for the community and just prevent this from happening in the future. I have a few things that will prevent this from happening...
    1. A countdown timer for when the basic crystal will update...very simple no brained solves the issue.
    2. Updating the crystals during maintenance so that we know all the bugs are worked out, seems like when there are issues with crystals in right when they drop. Void featured 5* rings a bell.
    3. Updating the basic top banner when the new champs are added, this can be previewed when you do the announcement of the champs being added so players will no what to look for.

    I hope this will prevent anyone else getting robbed of a chance at the newest champs added to a basic (or at least the appearance of, according to you guys) in the future.

    I managed to record my opening and you can clearly see in my video that the featured 6* crystal updated which is why I thought it was safe to open the basic. And you can see that the champs for “top prize” are all the old champs and indeed when the crystal spins there are zero of the added characters. I know it doesn’t seem like a big deal, but when you spend hours on a game playing through the toughest content Available to earn a spin of a crystal, you better believe you want to see that sucker spin with all the champs that were supposed to be in there. I mean the amount of money it takes to get a 1/100 shot at a featured 5* would put the value of a 1/36 shot at a 6* through the roof...and I most certainly do not feel like I got my shards worth. I am NOT complaining about drop rates in the game so please save me the generic email I end up getting sent every ticket. Sure I’d like a spin of the crystal I earned and paid for but didn’t get but don’t bother please just make it to where this won’t happen to anyone else...we spend too much time and money on this game for a lame excuse of a graphical issue to make us feel like we through four months of grinding and resources away... I am ok with bad troll rolls and terrible odds that’s part of the game, but opening a crystal and not seeing what’s supposed to be in there is unacceptable even for you guys.

    I did literally the exact same thing as you and got an iron fist. Not Kabam’s fault though as they did mention to look out for the banner that says that the basic pool has been updated. I also sent in a ticket but got a good well explained response of why they can’t refund the shards and it is 100% fair enough. Sorry man but next time you’ll learn and so will I

    I got that email as well and I was ok with it until they did in fact give the featured crystal spinners a redo after their crystals gave them an old champ instead of a chance at a new one... like I said I’m ok with the outcome but it shouldn’t have happened like that.
