Hyperion vs iceman

Just wondering if it’s normal that I fought against a 5* Hyperion with my 5* iceman on the all or nothing node and he managed to get 3 specials off, and I had my armor up for all three but he managed to deal 60% health with one of his specials?

It shouldn't happen based on their ability descriptions and the specific node buff but it happens to me constantly on AW.
Ice armour up but still cop the normal damage from an sp3
Typical kabam **** to get peeps to use resources when they shouldn't have to

Were you stunned or below 18% health when he dealt a lot of damage? If so, pacify or assassin could have kept Ice Armor from behaving properly (assuming this was an AW fight).

Also, was it a special 3? The Ice Armor will only protect from 1 hit. All special 3's count as 1 hit, so if the ice armor works properly, Iceman would only receive a max of 5% damage from a special 3. However, if you got hit with, say, a special 2, the first hit would shatter the armor and only take 5% damage, but the next 2 hits would count as full damage.

More information is needed.

All or nothing node only released SP3. So, I'm sure all of those 3 must be SP3.

When Iceman get parry, parry is ignored but the armor breaks and the clock can make you suffer during that period with SP3. Only face the damage like this otherwise no more than 5%.

Yeah I had ice armor for all sp3, did not get stun or hit a single time during the fight except for the sp3
