It's a bug Kabam is aware of and apparently unwilling/unable to fix.

Someone in the dev team hates him and gave him a hidden villain tag for his role in the massacre of the Morlocks.

Yeah, Gambit is a way more "mystical" beeing than nc.... Who is not Danger sensed
