Should i max 3 star champions as a beginner

i have 4 star vulture , 3 star old man logan ,3 star black widow and 3 star phoenix and i'm wondering about should i rank them up the max and what the 3 star, 4 star champs are worth maxing.

Basically, focus on taking all of your 3* and 4* champs to 3/30. No real need to 4/40 a 3* champ right away simply due to resource limitations.

Maxed 3* champs will serve you through quite a bit of arena grinding and early content until you can build a good 4* army.

As a beginner, u need maybe a few good champs to be at max level to sustain from all fights. But as soon as you have a few 4*, don’t bother to max every single one.

I was using 3* oldman logan too, with the tiny amount of regen and can’t bleed without awaken, he is not a good champ i feel. But if your choice is limited and you still don’t have parry and dexterity mastery, he maybe helpful to sustain in a fight, and black widow is good in damage,

Of course if you can bring vulture to rank3, you will use him in all fights because he is 4* and he still can be upgraded to rank4, which 3* champs cannot.

Upgrade all you can. Start with the 4* and when you hit a wall, probably at 3/30 and waiting on t4 basics, start ranking 3* to 4/40.

With some maxed 3* and a 3/30 4* you are set to 100% up to act 4. By the time you start Act 4 you should have plenty more champs and experience and knowledge to move forward with.

If you are still in Act 1/2 you have fun times ahead. A little jealous of those golden days of mcoc. Everything is new and exciting and good. Don’t get hung up on “god tier” and the like.

Vulture will do well, and black widow is a good one to max sig ASAP for stopping champs from healing or using defensive abilities.

Just do enough 3* to get you buy until you have more 4*. Vulture ain’t great, but he’s not bad either. Take him to r3 and hopefully you’ll have another 4* to to do the same soon. You only need more 3* for arena for a time, but before you know it, you’ll barely use 3* at all as 4* become more available to your roster. Check out seatin man of legends ranking as a guide. It’s not gospel by any means but I’d agree with most of his tiers - at least for progressing players.

I would get them to rank 3 at least, which should get you to act 3. Take them to rank 4 if you don't have any luck with more 4* by then. I used my 3* all the way to Act 3 completion (With a 4* Drax I unlocked towards the end). And if you get more 4* before then, go ahead and switch to ranking them. A rank 3 4* is stronger than a maxed 3*.

You don't have to rank up all of them, but I'd rank up enough to be able to reach the 3* arena milestone comfortably, be it till the top milestone or enough points to get you the 3* hero from the arena.
