What is best way to get Alpha Crystal?

Have been playing the game daily for last couple of months (am a beginner) and can’t seem to get enough Alpha Crystals. I have a grand total of 1 (one). I have 2 four star champions - Hulk and Ghost Rider. Hulk is at 2/20 and he needs an Alpha Catalyst to upgrade to R3. Ghost Rider is at 3/30 and he needs an Alpha Crystal to go to R4. Now I am confused who should I use it on and also which is the best way to get more of these Alpha Crystals? With only 2 4 star champions I don’t get entry into Arenas that give them as they require 4 and 5 star champions.

    The best source of t1as aside from Glory are Map 3 Crystals.

    100% normal mode (which is doable with a 3/30) will get you a t1a, also try to complete heroic
