Why Kabam, why?

After reading a heartwarming tale of friendship and generosity posted here in Forums recently I swore I would try to be more positive with my opinions of Kabam. It helped restore my faith in this game and that there was a lot of good in MCOC. And I still maintain there is a lot of good genuine people here in the player base.
However the same cannot be said for Kabam and the development team.....
I awoke this morning feeling refreshed, looking forward to bit of a break from War Seasons. I'm the leader of a predominantly retired Alliance whereby we play purely for enjoyment. We finished Season 2 in Silver 3 bracket. Rewards were good without being fantastic. No dramas. So I checked into Line as I always do and started to read articles from Infobot and Trucos who are both sensational in getting latest developments out to the greater community. "Season 3 begins July 11". Okay not much of a break, not much time to build up resources again. But then I read "Diversity will be removed"???
Why Kabam, why?
The vast majority of tge player base have ranked up less desirable champs purely for Diversity and now we have rosters full of champs that are in effect dead in the water. Yeah they'll give us more points in Arenas but thats it. Outside of a few fights in Arenas they are now useless. You state that no one wants to stack lines of Medusas or Dominoes but in order to get the wins, it'll happen. You say that the community have worked out ways to beat these champs.....provided you have the necessary champs that'll enable you to do so. If not.....out comes the wallet. You knew the community would be furious with this and would instantly demand RDT's. So to counter this you say Diversity may come back which gives you enough reason to deny the community the requested RDT's. Smart play.
Through Season 2 we were informed of some things that we all knew was out there but never spoken about. Collusion and piloting. So Kabam came to the rescue dressed in a suit of shining armour promising fixes and fairness. Only problem is these Alliances still exist, were given mediocre punishments and adversely affected the Alliances below them. You claim to have big stick and not afraid to use it but instead you wielded a wet rag at these cheaters.
MCOC is a fantastic game and I fully support your business ideals. You are here to make money, I get that. However the random deals that get sent to us are grossly overpriced. Overpriced in terms of realtime value or what you buy outside of the game for the same value. May I suggest you halve the costs so you can sell more? More people buying the same product for far less will raise the equivalent revenue as less people buying more expensive deals. It is a common sales ploy that many businesses employ to great effect. You won't be so reliant on the whales to provide the revenue stream you so desire. And you won't have to pander to the whims of these whales. Instead you'll gain the faith and trust of the greater community.
So please for the good of this game, and I for one do not want to see this game diminish into nothingness, please, please, please consult with us. You have the power to consult with the greater community via polls on future plans and ideas. You can make this game great again. You can prevent a foreseeable exodus. You can still delay Season 3 before it destroys OUR game. You can listen to us. We the community are your customers and as such we need you to provide the customer service we deserve.
