Heavy attacks won't stay connected

When I was fighting hyperion against stark spidey in the challenge, I noticed that sometimes spidey would evade part of the heavy attack even though I connected the heavy attack at the beginning (like I would parry and throw a heavy, but spidey would evade the second hit). Is this supposed to happen?

Always happened to me. Applies to multi-hit specials as well. Even if you connect the first part of the hit, he can still evade the other parts. This mainly happens against og Spidey or miles but same concept

It's his auto-evade mechanic so sometimes he can throw an evade out there randomly stark spidey has a high chance to evade specials
