Is Drax any good as a defender?

I have a very small amount of upgraded heroes and have to choose to place either Drax or Thor (Rag) as my last defender. I just unlocked Thor and wanted to run him as an attacker and see how he does, but my alliance comes first so what should I do to give us the most edge.?

    Put thor rag on D, on a power gain node he could catch people off guard with a special 3
