I’m fairly new to this game, 6 months playing. If anyone can explain reasoning would be appreciated

Ghost Rider

Ghost Rider is really versatile. Bleed immunity, power control, some heal block, and other stuff.

He can appear complicated, but in reality he is simple to use after you watch a couple videos on him.

Also, he doesn’t need his dupe to be great.

IMO this isn’t even close, and I think when you get more votes your poll will reflect that.

Ghost Rider

Ghost Rider is a pretty top tier option because he has a lot of utility, with bleed by doing a M-L-L-L-L combo, fury by doing a M-L-L-L-M combo (if duped), stops all buffs with sp1, power drain with sp2, and regen with heavy. Also, with every effect you do you put a judgement on the opponent, and the more judgements you have, the longer the effect will last. Of course, he doesn't have a guaranteed chance to put the abilities on, unless you have the synergy with blade. Also, with his sp3, he puts a degen on them called Damnation, which power locks, heal blocks, and disables their buffs until the timer ends, and it removes all judgements to repeat.

Thor Rag is basically just a damage champ, and he needs a high sig level, and a synergy with Hulk, which you probably don't have if you're new.

Agent Venom has decent damage, and can shrug off most debuffs.

Ms. Marvel is not a good choice.
