What day is the war map update going live.

Pretty clear in the post about Aw that it's on the 11th.. don't know where people are getting the idea of anything changing for the 5th

Confirmed by a mod that the new maps go live on the 5th

Seems pretty unclear at the moment just trying to get the correct information so I can gameplan with my team.

If they made the change on the 5th.. that would make no sense as it would be in the middle of the war series.. the 4th and 11th are for new war series.. the start of a new series is the most logical.. also.. please link where the 5th is mentioned.. i haven't been able to find anything suggesting that. Do a search for Kabam Mike and 5th.. there is a post there from 2017.. but i'm pretty sure people are looking for info in 2018 regarding this date.. in which case there is none..

So.. you are suggesting that when it opens on the 4th the nodes for defender placement will be different than on the 5th for attack phase?

Yep, you are right. The map changes go live before the season starts so that you can practice. Apologies for the confusion.
