Champs move forward no matter what

Dear kabam,
Why is it after i evade and than block once i release the block my champ moves forward in the attack i want my champ to remain still in fights in AQ it is hard to fight in higher tier. Of AQ,and AW plz someone explain this thanks

    If you want to stand still just hold block or tap it occasionally so you don't run forward. Otherwise the only way to move would be to use a dash attack which would have a major impact on baiting specials etc. You'd be much more likely to get backed into a corner or give them a third power bar and none of these are putting you in a good position.

    Moving forward automatically is really really really useful to bait specials
