Unable to land continuation Medium attack

After the recent update, I have noticed that I am not able to land a continuation medium attack. This happens when the opponent is in the corner and is hit by a Heavy attack making him/her fall to the ground. If I immediately try to do a continuation MLLLM combo, the first medium attack just passes through and does not land! This used to definitely work earlier and was highly useful when you risked the opponent to not land an SP3 if their bar was full and you were trying to get a K.O. at the very last part of their health.

Infact, for lower champions, I used to just spam MLLLH - MLLLH if they were cornered. Used to be mighty useful to finish off Arena fights quickly. But now it does not seem to work.

Not sure if this is a bug or was bug fix in the latest update!

Could someone point out what is the intended behavior?
