The game team has resolved this issue. Keys will be distributed via in-game messages and the quest timer will be extended.

As previously announced, the team will be distributing an additional point toward milestones to anyone who completed the Absorbing Man fight in the first step of the Winter of Woe.
This point will be distributed at a later time as it requires the team to pull and analyze data.
The timeline has not been set, but work has started.

Suggestions for Free Items

Hi Team,

In spirit of helping the community to grow, I've been inspired by the game "Plants vs. Zombies."

This game is widely supported by many free to play players, much like the MCOC community. The one facet that I like about this game is the ability to watch ads to obtain free items for advancement.

For example, as a Plants vs. Zombies player, we have the ability to watch a 30 second ad to obtain a small amount of gold or gems, which are used to boost our plants. Obviously, players do have the ability to purchase gold or gems, but I think that incorporating a facet such as this into MCOC would help newer players and those who do not necessarily have the money to spend.

In putting this in practice, MCOC players could (theoretically) watch ads, in tiers for gold, iso or units.
- 30 second ad = 1500 gold or 2 T2 Basic ISO or 5 units
- 1 minute ad = 3000 gold or 1 T3 Basic ISO or 10 units

These free rewards would be limited to 5-10 times, per 4 hours (to coincide with the standard / uncollected free crystals).

Obviously, the reward would be at random, but having the ability to shore up gold, ISO or unit reserves

The reason behind this proposal is simply for customer and player loyalty. While the free aspects of this game require a lot of grinding, I believe that a change such as this would greatly boost player morale and keep the MCOC community coming back for more.
