Gwen pool signature not working as intended

I had a fight against hyperion in war node 29..Gwen pool's powerlock doesn't work against him he gained power after I hit special 2...and hyperion knocked me using his third special.. Gwen pool signature ability didn't kick in...

    She doesn't apply power lock. She applies a enervate, which doesn't let the enemy gain power when struck.
    And gwenpool sig ability is affevted by the assassin mastery

    Enervate doesn't lock power gain, it only prevents the AI from gaining power when you strike them. It's okay because GP is still very good fro fighting Hyperion in that hyperions power gain actually leaves him with a lot of openings. If you catch an SP3 then you just left him build another bar of power and have him spam sp1's all day. Pretty easy fun stuff

    I didn't know that. I always thought enervate was the same as power lock lol

    Gwenpools sig can be cancelled by ability accuracy reduction, so for example if you were in assassin's range

    Iron patriots sp2 isn’t powerlocking hyperion either! I saw hyperion powergain and hit sp2, he just kept gaining power, then sp3 straight in the eye.
