Dowloading a beta version of iOS is not a fix to the overheating problems Iphone users are experiencing. A beta version is generally full of other bugs that your phone will experience. It may reduce the heat from happening but will not fix this permanently.
You may end up with a bunch of other things screwing over your phone and will need to revert back to 11.4 from your back up. ( if you did back up in the first place )
