Does AAR include nodes?

I was doing a fight in rttl chapter 3(safeguard) using duped 3* GP and after 40 something or so hits on my combo meter, GP's SP3 bypassed safeguard. Is this working as intended? And does it work against other nodes too?

Yes, safeguard is consider a defensive ability given by the node. It works on other scenarios too, but I think there are some exceptions that you'll find in the future

I meant example on which nodes cannot be affected by AAR, but i just realised that iceman is great for rttl, no baiting needed when i can just take the sp3

I'm just gonna ask about my team for rttl chapter 3 here so i don't have to create another thread. I am at round 5 and i got till debuff immune deadpool.(second last fight)
My current team:
5* unduped AA 1/25
4* unduped AA 4/40
4* duped wolvie 3/30
3* duped 4/40 GP
3* duped 4/40 Blade
Since that quest has 1 debuff immune opponent(DP), should i bring in AoU vision(4* r3) for the deadpool fight? GP can handle the visions.
