Not entirely sure what his Sig ability is and how it works though. Does it reduce ability accuracy with poison stacks?

That would be a tough choice. Test out Archangel as an R4 and see if you like him enough unawakened would be my advice. Then do the same if and when you get Voodoo. That's the easiest way to make a decision on it.
