In game display titles comes up as computer code?

Hi all,
I've recently been having the crystal and gold amount displaying some sort of computer code, instead of the normal amount of gold and crystal that I have collected from gameplay. My phone has been having heating issues too is the display problem a part of the issue?
If anyone has any helpful feedback I would appreciate it.
P. S this is my first post forgive if the picture attachment does not work.
