How to get t 5 star hero

I recently started this game. Plz suggest me some tips and how to get 5* hero

    If you just joined, your fastest way is to buy crystals that give you chance at 5* heroes. The slower way is to build your team by playing the game, earning resources to build your heroes, and run arenas that offer 5* shards as rewards, and join an alliance that earns 5* shard rewards.

    I played for about 4 months straight before randomly getting a 4* hero.
