Make Loki's SP2 drain and lock power like Magik to make him useful

Loki is among the most powerful beings in Marvel and in MCOC is one of the suckiest.

Buff him up by making him have the same SP2 as Magik and he'll be an awesome, not useless champ.

please don't bring up that he is effective against Act 5 Ultron. what good's a champ if it's only good tor one thing?

    You say what's the point of having one if they are only good for one thing but then that one thing comes and your happy to have one so I dont see the point of that argument.

    That wasn't a nerf. It was a cap on the new Synergy because he was doing 400k just from an L2.

    That's not what I said. It wasn't just active in that content. Curse with L3, fire an L2, and it's 400k Damage. Not hard to see how that was too OP.

    Start with showing any content in the game where his SP2 will equal 400k damage, which is not accurate anyway so I'll settle for any content where the synergy will show 100k for the SP2 which is the new, post change capped amount.

    And an official response as to why it was changed, no mention of other content than LOL.
    However, this synergy also makes Loki far too powerful in modes such as Labyrinth of Legends, where he is dealing enormous amounts of damage.

    For the OP, I like Loki, he is great fun to use and probably my favorite comedy champ in the game but won't take the place of anyone in a team unless its for a specific purpose and you have no better option.

    I was here when it took place. I'm aware of what was said in reference to where it was discovered. If you can't see how that is a problem in other areas of the game as well, I don't know what to say.
    The bottom line is a Champ shouldn't be capable of that Damage with an L2. Even Proxima requires more skill and effort to mount. They never intended for it to be capable of that amount of Damage. That's not a nerf. It was bad tuning, as they said.

    In any case, I feel like this is going to the side, so back to the topic. I wouldn't have any issues with revisiting him. I just don't agree that he's useless. You have to apply him.

    I was here when it took place. I'm aware of what was said in reference to where it was discovered. If you can't see how that is a problem in other areas of the game as well, I don't know what to say.

    Do you even know how Loki's L2 works with that synergy ? He does a percentage of the enemies health as direct damage. Against 3m hp champs like LoL that's some serious damage, against regular content it's decent but it's not going to get close to 100k. You sure sound like you think he could blast off 400k in any fight pre nerf with the synergy. Get your facts right.

    GW is right; or at least he's closer to right than you are. Not 400k, but Loki is on record as dealing 237,000 damage with a single SP2 (which is unblockable and repeatable) in LOL:

    Sure it's really only possible (at present) in LOL because that's where the biggest health pools are; but you know that as well as GW does; you were simply trolling GW for your own amusement. I'm sure the OP is grateful to you for derailing the thread.

    I took issue with GW post because the complete lack of context supplied with it could mislead people into thinking that loki was hitting 400k anywhere he felt like, the truth is, it only occurred in LOL (actual damage value notwithstanding) and even the capped 100k now is not seen in any content other LOL.

    When I pointed that out I got a typically belligerent response.

    Sorry mate,

    There are certain champs that make me laugh (yep, I am easily amused). Guillotine and heal reversal, Loki and buff steal, Moon knight on full moon phase etc.

    It's just a made up term I use for champs with niche use that I find funny.
