New Item Use Event

The new Item Use event, which my alliance has been waiting for a while, is finally back with some changes. The max milestone reward is 1500 PHC shards and no rank rewards, plus it's only 1 day event...This just cannot be intended. The rewards have been reduced significantly and we have things expiring. Can this be addressed?
