I have a suggestion for adding a strategy element to AQ Season 5. Currently players are only able to meet 5 days of Map 6 cost requirements by donating units. This and other aspects of MCOC have caused unit fraud and 3rd party software to become more frequent. One idea for decreasing the use of 3rd party software and unit fraud is to exclude units from being able to pay for Map 6 or Map 7 (if it is ever added) map costs.
This could add an intriguing strategy aspect to Alliance Quest. Determining the opportunity cost between using loyalty on things like special Alliance War boosts and loyalty store items and Alliance Quest Map Cost donations would make Alliance Quest less monotonous. It would also make Alliance Quest similar to other aspects of MCOC that involve strategy. An example of this is how forum moderators have mentioned the new peak milestone system can reward alliances who choose to save crystals and other things to occasionally score higher in Summoner Advancement rankings. Lastly, this suggestion would give a greater number of alliances the chance to occasionally move up in AQ rankings.
Increasing the amount of competition in MCOC benefits both the community and Kabam. Looking forward to seeing what AQ changes are coming our way for Season 5.

@NiteAndDae Short term yes, long-term no. AW Seasons would become increasingly competitive because more players would earn T2AC fragments from AQ rank rewards. That would mean more 4/55-5/65 5* defenders and more 2/35 6* defenders. That would increase resource consumption in AW exponentially over time.
The same alliances dominaing top AQ rank rewards means the same 20-30 alliances in master/high plat 1 tier stay competitive with each other. More alliances competing for the top 3 and top 20 spots in AW Seasons would mean Kabam would make more $ and AW collusion would become increasingly difficult due to there being more and more alliances competing for top AW Seasons rewards. Win-win situation for Kabam.
