This is a terrible idea. MVPs are only given to those who do certain paths (mainly the outer ones). If you got rewards for getting the most MVPs, people would fight to do those specific paths and not do the middle paths which are very important. This would also breed contempt among alliance members. Bad idea all around.
Awful idea... easy to get mvps with some alliances and hard with others... mvp means almost nothing. Suggested before and always an awful moronic idea. DEAD THREAD.
It's well known that mvp is given to those who take the longer paths, which are easier. The middle paths are significantly more difficult but shorter and so much less likely to give the title. So, no, the title isn't anything special and shouldn't give any type of bonus.
Turning alliance team mates against each other would really make teamwork harder. I take path 2 on the 8 path version (paths 2+3 on the 9 path version). I do a load of fights and save for the unblockable miniboss and the stun immune microboss (the new mini-miniboss), most nodes are easy. Real pressure is making sure link nodes are down. Our best players are spread out evenly to oneshot minibosses. Path choice is also determined by who has what r4/r5 champs e.g. blade, void, etc. If we did better rewards for mvp most of these players would want to swap paths which could actually reduce our attack bonus and aw score.
