I don't know if it's a bug but I have a question...

I was playing as Psylocke fighting Yellow Jacket. I would use my SP1 successfully and before I can even react I get comboed by Yellow Jacket. I understand if the animation completed and he was blocking or if I missed, but I was making full contact and then getting hit. Does this sound odd to any of you?
