enrage timer determined by challenger rating

So, there is a lot of discussion in the community about how to extend the enrage timer in Labyrinth of Legends. I am perfectly aware that we have been told that the timer is based off of base attack rating. Why?
Challenger rating was added to the game in the near-past, and challenger rating should determine enrage timers. Whatever the barrier is for extended enrage, there are some 5 star rank 4 champs that hit that number and some that do not. Many need an attack synergy team to make the timer extended (I know it has been said that synergy doesn't effect the timer, but from everything I have seen it does). Players shouldn't have to test extensively to figure out these work-around ways to extend the timer. If the timer was just set for specific times, according to their challenger rating, then everyone would have an equal opportunity to take on the Labyrinth if they have a 5 star rank 4 champ.
As the Labyrinth sits now, it is only available to certain 5* champions because many of them don't have enough attack rating to extend the enrage timer. While this can be worked around, even in ways that kabam has said aren't possible, it is not a good system. Players do not know which champs can extend the timer even at rank 4, so how then will they know if the timer is extended until they rank that champ up and try it? There are not enough resources in the game (tier 2 alphas) to test champions for the extended timer. This is a bad system and only creates problems for your players.
I like the enrage timer. I think it is a good idea and it shouldn't go anywhere... but there is no way for players to know what the enrage timer will do to their champions because it is not consistent across all 5 star champions of the same rank. It should be consistent and we shouldn't have to experiment to find our own answers (especially when the cost is a ranked up champion that fails the test)
Challenger rating is the answer. As far as I know, challenger rating doesn't discriminate. All champs of equal stars, rank and level receive the same challenger rating.
Either that, or let us know what champions can hit the extended enrage cutoff.
