New champs not in Event quest

Hi Kabam/Moderators,
What is with this new trend of new champs not being in the Event quest. Eg- Wasp wasnt there in July'18 event quest, now korg isnt there in Aug'18 event Quest. How are we supposed to practice on these new champs and get used to their animations, moves etc when there is no game mode where you can find them. We cant even duel them if they are not the highest prestige champ.
The first time we fight them is in war, without any experience, which is totally unfair.
