Mystic Cores - how to get?

Updating all my masteries and noticed i only have 1/5 on mystic dispersion as i have no mystic cores.
Does the game in its current state still allow people to get these in store besides waiting weekly for the mystic catalyst quests?
Saw Brian Grant's video from a year ago with the option to purchase in store but not sure if that's still available now.
If anyone is still currently farming mystic cores please let me know how you are going and what your methods are.
